Allow Us To Reintroduce Ourselves

With covid health and safety restrictions slowly lifting, everyone is trying figuring out how to navigate in a new world. Unseen Heroes included.

Honest moment: It has been a tough 19 months over here at Unseen Heroes. Being one of the first industries to close and one of the last industries to reopen, we've had to adopt the action of pivoting as part of our core ethos.

At times, "pivoting" has been putting our heads down and shutting the world out while we tried to figure everything out. In other times, it has been taking team "pause days" to ensure that we are mentally okay to get through the week.

Overall, it feels a bit like a bear coming out of hibernation. As a team, we've taken a lot of time to strategize, look at old ways of doing business, get rid of the the parts that we needed to let go, create new offerings, set new goals, and redefine what it is we are doing.

Creativity. Collaboration. Community. Commerce.

When it comes to the foundation of what we've built Unseen Heroes on, it comes down to four core principles that have helped us navigate this far: Creativity, Collaboration, Community, and Commerce.

As we look back on the last 19 months, we've had to rely on our creativity to solve problems for ourselves and for our clients. We've had the pleasure of collaborating with some of the most talented people in our city. We've had to rebuild our community after our Instagram debacle. We've reimagined commerce and built a local economy that generates hundreds of thousands of dollars for our business community through our retail and market experiences.

Everyone Contributes To Our Four C's.

Now that our team has had a few months to build from the foundation, we are slowly rolling out ways that everyone in the UH Community can be a part of our ethos and build with us. It might have seemed at times that we've fallen off and/or disappeared, so please allow us to reintroduce ourselves.

We have a lot of very exciting things rolling out in the next few months and we are looking to make some changes (official announcement coming soon) that will really enhance our entire community.

As we start to reemerge in the the physical community and the digital community, please know that we are doing the best we can. We understand that we won't get everything right, nor are we trying to. We are just trying to leave this city a little better than we found it.

We hope you will continue to rock with us and the UH Universe that we've created together over the last 13 years.

With Love,

Roshaun Davis
